With a few weeks to spare before CIC7, the ever-increasing attendance list has grown once more with the reformation of
Watch and Learn. Featuring a number of experienced competitive Call of Duty 4 players, the lineup are keen to get involved in the resurgence of the CoD4 scene.
The core of the lineup are three players who have been playing on and off together for a long time, including a stint in the top CoD2 side Sykotic.
Allan "allan" Degnan and
Christopher "wolv" Bradley went on to play for TCM but quit from competitive play at the start of CoD4. Joining them will be old teammate
Billy "phonic9" Collins, who joined them again in a few fun teams for Call of Duty 4. Unfortunately they became largely inactive for the majority of CoD4’s competitive life, as work and other real-life commitments took over. Now these have been somewhat relaxed, they are extremely happy to be able to return to competitive gaming.
However, the team is not limited to ex-CoD2 players. The final two members of the team are
Michael "deezNN_" Morajda and
Mark "aamPizN" Morajda, the Scottish brothers who both played for TCM at the start of CoD4. Given their mix of experience and talent, combined with a strong team spirit developed from years together, the new side have promise for a good finish at CIC7.
The team aims to compete at CIC7 and beyond. With a £2500 CoD4 tournament confirmed at i39, it seems likely that the entirely UK lineup will make an appearance. In the mean time, they will be playing in online tournaments to practice for their LAN appearances.
The Watch and Learn Call of Duty 4 team is therefore as follows:
We wish them the best of luck in their preparations for CIC7!Allan "allan" Degnan
