A heroic new CoD4 team

It seems that the impact the upcoming CIC7 event has had on the Call of Duty 4 scene has no limit. By the day teams are forming and reforming to comepte at this or future events inspired by this. The latest in a string of team news has come today as a new Call of Duty 4 team has been formed, 
Heroes. The side features several familiar faces, and has a strong core from the successful 
YYT.NL from last summer.
Heroes. The side features several familiar faces, and has a strong core from the successful YYT.NL from last summer.Heading the roster is Jelle "pr0phecy" Monen, captain of the old YYT.NL team. This team performed exceptionally well at OOF3 and i37 in particular last summer, and the team gained a lot of respect and experience doing so. Joining Jelle are former teammates Boudewijn "aerox" Verleg, known for his deft sniping ability and Robby "pazazu" Kraai. The only non-benelux member of the lineup is
Claudio "solu" Giovanniello, a player with a strong history, including the 
cubesports.AMD side that shocked a few people last summer. Finally, 
Jasko "cozje" Berbic will be joining the team from the ashes of 
corgz, the promising but ill-fated Norwegian side that split up just a few days ago due to internal conflicts.

With summer events already rumoured and confirmed, it looks like this could be a good year for the new team. And, with an experienced and talented group of dedicated players, this lineup would be a great addition to and multi-gaming organisation's roster. It won't be long before they are snapped up! The team will also be participating in online tournaments in the run up to the LAN events.

Statement Boudewijn "aerox" Verleg: "After joining up with Proph, Paz and Solu, the hunt for a fifth player went on. I'm pleased to say that we've found our fifth, albeit under not the best of circumstances. We would like to present our fifth player as none other then Cozje! Cozje was supposed to go to CC7 with CORGZ, however, after some events that took place in that team, they sadly split up. We quickly snapped up coz, and found the playstyles to match from the get-go. After a few days of playing, cozje decided to join us, and here we are. We're getting ready for CC7, and will do so by also attending the Frag-o-Matic 12.0 LAN in Belgium. We look forward to 2010, and hope that we can leave an impact on the scene. Massive shoutout to the Call of Duty 4 community, for rallying together, and getting the lans when it matters most. Also a big shoutout to Vanner for pretty much leading the troops, and the biggest shoutout of all goes to my new (and old) teammates, with whom i'm sure to have a fantastic time! We're also looking for an Organisation to support us in our endeavours, so contact anyone of us on xfire or irc."
